A customer recently asked us a simple but important question:

Does St. John’s Wort Extract 0.3% Hypericin contain melatonin?

To be honest, we didn’t want to give an answer without testing.

Although St. John’s Wort Extract 0.3% Hypericin is standardized for hypericin, this specification alone does not tell us whether melatonin is present or absent.
